Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) govern the conditions for using the online learning platform “Sequence” (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) operated by Sazanami Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). Please read the following carefully and agree to these Terms before using the Service.

Article 1 (Scope)

1.1 These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and registered users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) regarding the use of the Service.
1.2 Any guidelines or rules separately established by the Company regarding the Service are considered part of these Terms.

Article 2 (Definitions)

2.1 “The Service” refers to the Company’s website and related services that provide online learning in IT, English, finance, business, and other fields.
2.2 “Users” refers to individuals or entities who agree to these Terms and utilize the Service.

Article 3 (User Responsibilities)

3.1 Users shall use the Service at their own responsibility and bear full responsibility for all actions and results arising from its use.
3.2 Users must comply with these Terms and applicable laws and shall not use the Service in an improper or unauthorized manner.

Article 4 (Registration)

4.1 Individuals wishing to use the Service must apply for registration through methods specified by the Company. Registration is complete once the Company approves the application.

4.2 The Company may reject registration applications in the following cases:

    • If the applicant has previously been suspended for violating these Terms.
    • If the applicant provides false information.
    • If the Company deems the application inappropriate for any other reason.

Article 5 (Password and User ID Management)

5.1 Users are responsible for managing their passwords and User IDs securely.
5.2 Users shall not allow third parties to use their passwords or User IDs.
5.3 The Company shall not be held liable for damages arising from unauthorized use of passwords or User IDs, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 6 (Prohibited Actions)

6.1 Users shall not engage in the following actions while using the Service:

    • Violating laws or public order and morals.
    • Infringing on the rights of other Users or third parties.
    • Disrupting the operation of the Service.
    • Impersonating other Users.
    • Using the Service for commercial purposes without the Company’s permission.
    • Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the Company.

Article 7 (Service Suspension)

7.1 The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice in the following cases:

  • For system maintenance or updates related to the Service.
  • In the event of force majeure, such as fire, power outage, or natural disasters, that make service provision difficult.

    When the Company deems suspension or interruption necessary.

7.2 The Company shall not be liable for damages incurred by Users due to suspension or interruption of the Service.

Article 8 (Ownership of Rights)

8.1 Copyrights, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company or the respective rights holders.
8.2 Users shall not reproduce, sell, publish, or distribute information included in the Service without prior consent from the Company.

Article 9 (Advertisements)

9.1 The Company may display advertisements for products or services of the Company or third parties on the Service.
9.2 The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of such advertisements and shall not be involved in disputes or transactions between Users and advertisers.

Article 10 (Account Termination)

10.1 Users may terminate their use of the Service at any time by following procedures specified by the Company.
10.2 Responsibilities arising from usage prior to account termination shall not be extinguished.

Article 11 (Service Changes and Termination)

11.1 The Company may change or terminate the content of the Service without prior notice to Users.
11.2 The Company shall not be liable for damages incurred by Users due to changes or termination of the Service.

Article 12 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)

12.1 The Service is provided “as is,” and the Company makes no guarantees regarding its completeness, accuracy, or usefulness.
12.2 The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 13 (Confidentiality)

13.1 Users shall not disclose any non-public information disclosed by the Company in connection with the Service to third parties without prior consent from the Company.

Article 14 (Handling of User Information)

14.1 The Company shall handle Users’ personal information appropriately in accordance with the Company’s separate Privacy Policy.

Article 15 (Changes to these Terms)

15.1 The Company may revise these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms shall take effect upon notification on the Service.

Article 16 (Communication and Notifications)

16.1 Communications or notifications from the Company to Users regarding the Service shall be made by methods deemed appropriate by the Company.
16.2 Users shall direct inquiries to the Company using methods separately specified by the Company.

Article 17 (Transfer of Service Contract Rights)

17.1 Users may not transfer their contractual rights related to the Service to any third party without prior written consent from the Company.

Article 18 (Severability)

18.1 If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid under applicable laws, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 19 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

19.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
19.2 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
